About Me

I am a qualified Fine Artist, award winning and working within the art industry as a curator based in west Sussex, England. My creative space is a little bungalow along the coast, where I live with my husband and our two son's.

Art is my passion, I like to create beautiful, colourful works of art that have a personal connection which has inspired me to take my ideas to canvas.

I am dedicated to bringing colour and beauty into the hearts of homes that fall in love with my work, it thrills me to be able to share my talents.

When I am not painting, I work as a fine art curator inspiring other fellow artist to promote and sell their work. I also ‘hit the road’ on the weekend to various events and exhibitions across the UK to show case my work throughout the year.

Behind The Work

My inspiration comes from the beautiful world around us and my personal experiences of it. Each of my original works of art have a story behind them, for example; ‘Bert’ (Turtle oil painting on canvas) was the first turtle painting I completed after having a wonderful experience in Madera, paragliding with my husband where we were fortunate enough to witness around 20 turtles coming to air from sky high. It has left an emotional impress on me, hence my love for painting turtles.

My other works also feature on wood, working on wood allows me to marry my two loves in life, wood work and painting. Having taken courses in wood work allows me to cut, treat and sculpt a unique platform for my oil paint designs. I also try to up cycle where possible, using old beds, furniture, trees that are now dangerous within the environment for my designs to reduce my environmental impact. Working on wood features especially at Christmas time, I like to create mini paintings that are unique, so that everyone can afford a little original work of art by myself.

I fell in love with painting in oils during my degree and I have never turned back. The way I can blend  and man-oeuvre the paint, building up the layers and mixing medium concoctions, it’s a fore filling process to my work and I enjoy every minute losing hours to my painting process.

Along with creating my own works of art I also offer a commission based service to those who require a one off original work of art that I go to lengths to fore fill each clients requirements.

With everything that I do I try to give 110%, my passion is shown with the quality, dedication, perseverance and love for what I do.

5th-6th April '25

I will be exhibiting in my little gazebo to kick start spring at the south of England show ground, I am an avid fan of all the events the grounds hold throughout the year and after my first experience in 2024 I am keen to return to the venue.
